Carbi

Carbi and I try to make MTLH and Dad think that we don't like each other. We fight like this all the time (just playing but they don't have to know that).

I thought we were doing a good job at pretending we don't like being brothers... but then MTLH showed me these pictures she has taken of us.

I think we'll have to make sure that we don't sleep at the same time so that we can stop MTLH getting more photos of us!

Home Visit

Today MTLH and I had to do important PFD work. We had to go visit Gracie and her Mum and HER Mum to make sure that the house was safe to send a puppy to. We were sure it would be as they already have dogs but you can never be to sure when it's about a puppy!

We had a good time. I explored the house throughly to make sure it was ok. It was like in those cop TV shows when one of the cops keeps the criminal occupied while the other one snoops. And I got to be the snoop while MTLH talked!

We stayed for a long time and I talked a bit to Gracie, but she is a bit big for me to feel comfortable!

MTLH then had to go to the material shop so she could buy some stuff to make a coat for Gracie to wear when she is working.

Carbi and Dad have just left for work and MTLH has given Carbi another nickname (as well as punk, crabby and dill). She was saying good bye to Carbi and she said "Bye Carb" and then started calling him soda and saying "bye carb soda". I don't get it, but she thought it was pretty funny.

Carbohydrate

Today I was happily in the loungeroom chewing on a new toy I had found in the backyard. Then Mum came up the stairs...

"Carbohydrate!" she yelled. It was then that I knew I was doing something wrong. She only calls me by my full name if I've been naughty. "You can NOT bring things you find in the compost heap into the house! AND you shouldn't eat the stuff from the compost at all!".

Seriously, someone should write a book of rules for us dogs. They'd make a fortune!

Sleeping

Mum took some photos of me sleeping today. She told Dad that she took them as evidence.

She came to check on me and Dad and found me in my bed like this....

Dad had put his bag down in my bed!! Mum moved it and I could get comfortable.

She told Dad that she was glad that he had his bag in the bedroom (it has all his stuff for his diabetes in it and he had a habit of leaving it upstairs which annoys Mum) but that he needs to not put it in MY bed!
