Aunty Lou

Guess what????

Aramis and I got to talk to Aunty Lou for real (not just in a dream)! Dad woke up the other afternoon (he does night shift with me at the home with old people) and Mum told him to bring me into the study to talk to Aunty Lou. I thought that she must have come over and I hadn't heard her. I sniffed everywhere but couldn't smell her.

Mum lifted me up and pointed to the computer and I could see a lady moving. It was the lady from all the photos Nana and Pop made us look at! It was Aunty Lou!!!!

I could hear her talking as well. Mum said she could see us because of the computer has an eye called a web cam and it shows Aunty Lou what happens in our study - or at least I think that's what she said. This is what the eye looks like. I think our computer may be an alien.

Aunty Lou said I should come and visit. She told me to dig a REALLY big hole in the backyard and if I dig it deep enough I will come out in China.

Anyone want to come over and help me???

Okay.

Nothing like a spot of digging to work up an appetite.

Oh wait. I don't need to work up an appetite.

I think I'll just have a sleep instead. Call my people if you get desperate.

Chow for now,

so your aunty is inside your computer?!!! how does that work, is the inside of the computer called China? This is too much for my terrier brain to handle.

No my Aunty Lou isn't in the computer. She lives in China which is a country like Australia (where I live). My Aunty Eryn also lives in China but I've never met or seen her.

Somehow the computer's eye shows Aunty Lou me moving and her computer's eye shows us her moving.

I have a friend named Dazy Dew that would love to come over and help dig a hole with you.

I got your card, thank you so much! I love the Austrailian translation - us people here in the states needed it. Thanks!!!

Hi Carbi

Thank you for visiting my blog. No worries about not putting my name in your Christmas card as my mum only just helped me set up my own blog.

I've added a link to your blog and to Paws for Diabetics Inc. My mum is going to add a link to PFD on my brother Beau's website too.

Us Aussies have to support each other, and it is great to meet you.

Thank you for caring about Beau too.

that sounds VERY complex!! I hear its backwards in Australia too, you guys have summer right now! what a big world, I sure am glad I have friends in so many neat places! I have also heard that in Australia you have kangaroos and they are ALL named Joey, how COOL IS THAT!!!

I don't know if it's backwards here. It doesn't seem like it. Maybe it's backwards there and so you just THINK it's backwards here!

We sometimes have swamp wallabies (like little black kangaroos) in our backyard. They scare me cause all I can hear is thumping in the dark.

I asked Mum about them being named Joey and she said the young ones are named that but they get a new name when they get older. How old are you?

Hm I have been Joey all my life and I am 7. I wonder if I will get a new name soon? I think his Royal Handsomeness might be a good name?
